[Baloons in a farm yard.]

Nice game!

I liked this game! The music was pretty soothing so it made me all chilled out. The game was fun but it got a bit repetitive and I felt that sometimes the balloons spawned unfairly close to the top of the screens. Also, sometimes, the balloon began to spawn in one place and then it would disappear and reappear elsewhere which was a bit off putting. Im not slating your game because I actually think its quite good... Just pointing out a few lil problems so that you can improve on future releases!

Hmmmm a pretty solid game...

I think that what you have is awesome but I think it needed a bit more playtesting, The gameplay is just a little too simple. By the 5th or 6th round you have unlocked everything and its a case of just laying back and waiting to smite the enemy... Just my opinion tho...

Yeh but i couldnt make it any more complex because flash wouldnt be able to handle it, so for that i'm sorry, i guess i'll have to start making games in a more powerful engine, that or macromedia will need to up the power of the flash engine!

Hmmmmmmmmm

I got a C so I'm obviously not cool... Just because this quiz says so. Who the hell are you to tell people whether or not they're cool. Seriously, this is one of the lamest things I have ever had the misfortune to waste my time on. Just because you dont think i'm cool doesnt make me a nerd. I know a whole lotta other people second this opinion. Make something a bit more worthwhile next time.

I know the scores I gave arent exactly a reflection of the title of this review but thats due to the relevance of the areas to this game.

Firstly I think the graphics are truely well and below the level of programming in this game. It really is a cool game and its wicked fun to play. Perhaps get an artist to help you. I'd like to help and I'll send you some samples if you add me to msn on this email. arogueelement at hotmail dot com

the style was cool especially the title screens which were nicely laid out.

The sound was the worst aspect of this game. There were no sound effects and if there were then they were inaudible over the annoying dance track. Use a variety of shorter loops which people can choose. One long track takes up a whole heap of file size for very little benefit.

Violence is 0 cos it not a violent game nor is it supposed to be!

Interactivity I gave full marks because this is a fun game to play with well written bug free code!

Humour is 0 because this is not meant to be a funny game!

Overall 8.

Well done on producing a game which is much better than the majority of games on NG. I wish you all the best in your future flashes.

if you are any good drawing serious anime style (like, classic anime style) i would greatly appreciate teaming up with you. im interested in a few new things. first, id like to create a story mode, with many tracks, actual opponents, and cutscenes in between, which would be where you come in. the cars are all sprites i ripped from an old initial d game, but if you could draw something better, id love to see some of that. if the cars arent exactly what im looking for, ill stick with my sprites, but what would really be nice is some help with cutscenes. i am an ABOMINABLE artist. its pathetic really.

the song is DIRECTLY from the anime, so i was trying to create a consistency that true fans of the series would recognize. i agree that i need some loops. what i need to do is actually extract loops from many of the initial d songs. in that way, i could have an endless number of songs.

ill drop you an email with most of this information in it. i hope to work with you in the future on something that will really draw some attention.

I've been an NG member for a couple (at least) years now and this is one of the most refreshing game sI've played in a while. Few little ideas and pointers.

The crosshair is too large - this makes shooting a tad inaccurate at times. Either make the crosshair change colour while it is over an enemy or just reduce it in size.
Secondly, I thought the slow frame rate really let down your fantastic artistic ability! Speed it up to as fast as you can be bothered to animate. Even 20 fps would be considerably smoother.
I like the style of your drawing but felt sometimes they did not contrast enough with the backgrounds. Whilst this did not make them hard to see I did feel they could've been more obvious!
Awesome game - really impressed - I voted five to bring you a little closer to the 3.5 threshold. Check out my submissions and if you think im worthy then I'd be up for a team project! If not - good luck!

At least its a good original idea.

I liked this, i thought it was novel and it kept me entertained throughout. If you'd spent a bit more time creating a more polished piece - more levels, neater etc then it would have been better. Please dont think i am putting it down cos i'm not - just trying to provide some helpful criticism! Good luck in the future!

Pretty damn cool

That was really fun, the graphics were bouncy and lively aswell. I think that helped to pep it up a bit. It was fun until about level 15 and then it got a bit pot lluck for my liking. It was sweet fun tho!!!

I think people are bein a little harsh...

Not only is the file size very impressive, the game is fast paced, fun and somewhat addictive. Evidently it is very similar to that old gem 'helicopter'. I enjoyed playing your game but I feel that with a little more effort it really could've been something special. Perhaps it is important to realise that in this age of wide spread broadband it is not so vital to think about file size. 250kb is a small download even on 56k and with that you could've included sounds, more interactivity, customisability, better graphics etc. Overall it was sweet, you obviously have a lot of talent, I guess i'm just saying don't waste it. If you can't draw then try teaming up with someone. Anyway, good luck with future projects and thanks for a fun game!
