[Flashcraft - TD]

Hmmmm a pretty solid game...

I think that what you have is awesome but I think it needed a bit more playtesting, The gameplay is just a little too simple. By the 5th or 6th round you have unlocked everything and its a case of just laying back and waiting to smite the enemy... Just my opinion tho...

Was a good fun little game tho...

Yeh but i couldnt make it any more complex because flash wouldnt be able to handle it, so for that i'm sorry, i guess i'll have to start making games in a more powerful engine, that or macromedia will need to up the power of the flash engine!

I know the scores I gave arent exactly a reflection of the title of this review but thats due to the relevance of the areas to this game.

Firstly I think the graphics are truely well and below the level of programming in this game. It really is a cool game and its wicked fun to play. Perhaps get an artist to help you. I'd like to help and I'll send you some samples if you add me to msn on this email. arogueelement at hotmail dot com

the style was cool especially the title screens which were nicely laid out.

The sound was the worst aspect of this game. There were no sound effects and if there were then they were inaudible over the annoying dance track. Use a variety of shorter loops which people can choose. One long track takes up a whole heap of file size for very little benefit.

Violence is 0 cos it not a violent game nor is it supposed to be!

Interactivity I gave full marks because this is a fun game to play with well written bug free code!

Humour is 0 because this is not meant to be a funny game!

Overall 8.

Well done on producing a game which is much better than the majority of games on NG. I wish you all the best in your future flashes.

if you are any good drawing serious anime style (like, classic anime style) i would greatly appreciate teaming up with you. im interested in a few new things. first, id like to create a story mode, with many tracks, actual opponents, and cutscenes in between, which would be where you come in. the cars are all sprites i ripped from an old initial d game, but if you could draw something better, id love to see some of that. if the cars arent exactly what im looking for, ill stick with my sprites, but what would really be nice is some help with cutscenes. i am an ABOMINABLE artist. its pathetic really.

the song is DIRECTLY from the anime, so i was trying to create a consistency that true fans of the series would recognize. i agree that i need some loops. what i need to do is actually extract loops from many of the initial d songs. in that way, i could have an endless number of songs.

ill drop you an email with most of this information in it. i hope to work with you in the future on something that will really draw some attention.
